Vida Dietetics is a nutrition clinic staffed with dedicated dieticians focused on inspiring long term care nutrition throughout Southwestern Ontario. When changing their name from ‘Urbshott Faulds Dietetics Professional Corporation’ they were looking for a fresh, clean, health forward logo to represent their new brand.

As well as the brand itself we also developed collateral such as; a pull up banner, stationary, digital ads and social media assets.

 
 
 


 
 

 
 

The Logo

When developing this logo we wanted to create something that felt earthy and organic to reflect their aim of providing healthy nutrition to those in care. This is reflected in the earthy jewel tones of the colours as well as the organic, slightly rough edges of the word ‘Vida’.

As it was also important to showcase their professionalism and status as experts in their field, we used clean but friendly san serif lettering for the word ‘dietetics’ as well as in their tag line. The leaf shapes also reflect this professionalism, being more iconic than realistic, with the negative space in the largest leaf forming a fork, to make the connection between healthy food and eating.

The tagline forms an arched circle from the tip of the fork to the end of the logo, symbolizing their comprehensive, holistic approach to nutrition in healthcare.
